Electronic Waste

As per the E-waste (Management & Handling) Rules, 2011, notified by the Ministry of Environment & Forests (MoEF), effective from 1st May 2012, the disposal / dumping of e-waste without proper treatment and disposal methodology is not permitted. Every Producer, Consumer or bulk consumer involved in the Manufacture, Sale, Purchase and processing of electrical and electronic equipments or components as specified in Schedule- I, has to give their -Waste to Authorized E-Waste Recycler.

En-vision has obtained NOC from Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gandhinagar to set up a facility for Collection, Storage, Treatment and Disposal of e-Waste as per e-Waste (M&H) Rules, 2011. We have already acquired land at Padaria, Dahej, District- Bharuch for setting up the facility where, e-waste will be collected, stored, dismantled, metals and non metals will be separated and precious metals will be recovered from e-waste.
