Biodiversity
A multidisciplinary Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) assignment is being undertaken for the “Creating Wild Valley Biodiversity Park” initiative in Surat. The project focuses on rejuvenating degraded wasteland along the Kankara Creek and transforming it into a sustainable urban green space that enhances biodiversity and ecological balance.
The scope includes comprehensive monitoring of civil works, environmental quality, and social impact indicators, along with advanced GIS/GPS-based digital mapping of plantations. Key activities involve environmental testing (air, water, soil, and noise), biodiversity tracking, stakeholder engagement assessments, and the development of web- and mobile-based platforms for tree inventory and data management.
This project emphasizes technology-driven monitoring, sustainability reporting, and ecological restoration, supporting long-term environmental resilience and urban biodiversity conservation.
